Something dark and evil is happening to Lonesome, Texas. A fever has
taken much of the town folk, leaving the town almost empty. The cavalry
unit assigned to the newly built stockade has disappeared from its post
without a word. To make matters more bleak a band of outlaws, led by the
deadly and mysterious man only known as Deacon, has moved into the
abandoned stockade on the edge of town and virtually taken over things.
It is no longer safe to walk the streets or let
your women folk travel without an escort.
Lonesome, Texas is located in the Panhandle region of Texas where the
Punta de Agua and Rita Blanca rivers fork. Ranchers abound here,
free-ranging their longhorn cattle. Without a railroad, the only way to
arrive at Lonesome is either by the weekly stage, horseback or wagon. Be
aware of the blood thirsty Indians, however, they are all over and not
hesitant in taking a white captive
or two.
