It had been sometime since the Voyager had returned home Captain Jane way had been promoted to Admiral.fleet has studied a great deal of the data from the
Delta quadrant and had planned on an established base near the Delta Borders,
seeing how it was apparent that the Borg, had come from there, they were the
Federations greatest enemy, so they thought.... until the Reman threat had
occurred in 2379 by a reman named Shinzon the conflict
cost the lives of commander Data,once the threat was supposedly passed, Captain
Riker took command of the USS Titan taking with him Commander Troy whom he
married.Captain Picard was still the captain of the USS Enterprise which was
refit after the damages that were inflicted upon her by the Reman threat.The
Romulan Empire was torn in to pieces, divided deeply over what had happened many
were maneuvering for power, which meant that a wounded Romulan Empire was even
more unpredictable and more dangerous then before, not forgetting the Remans now
were a real force to reckon with. Thus Star fleet felt that it was even more
imperative to defend the border of the Beta Quadrant, the Borg and God only knew
what else from the Delta Quadrant, and the Romulan Empire situation,the Remans
in the Beta Quadrant The Cardassians were in the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants,
while the dominion war had been over for awhile but there was always the
possibility from the dominion hold out groups for trouble not counting the Breen were as
unpredictable as ever.So The Federation began work on a new star base, star base
51. It was completed at the first of 2381 and put into place at the beginning of
2382.With that Established they assigned Admiral Alexander Armstrong to the
command of the star base.And a new Sovereign class star ship had been
commissioned created on the lines of the Enterprise-E with a few
modifications.It has been assigned to the Alpha/Gamma Quadrants to explore,and
defend Federation interests.Her name would be,....the U.S.S.George Washington-A.
