[WABlist] Celt Shaman and Mixed Weapons

 

Hi all,

Comming back to WAB after a long break and am considering starting a Celt army once my Epirote is finished but wanted to make sure I was reading the rules right.

Mixed weapons gives you rerolls to hit in the first round of combat.

The Shaman gives a unit hatered, which allows you to reroll misses in the first round of combat.

You can't reroll a reroll and since the shaman can't be mounted, he can only join units with the mixed weapon rule.

So basicly my question is, what is the point in the Shaman? He seems like a nice idea, but not very practical...
