Groups are fine. Have been a member of them and loved being in them. But..
In my opinion it is very difficult to portray a good romance (erotic or not)
in groups. Simply because you are tied to *their *timeframe, and can't
progress the romance like in (for instance) a Jane Austen novel. You can't
independently speed up time, and go from romance to something else (Sex.
Affairs. Marriage. Children.), because you are still stuck in the day, week,
or month of the group. You can not progress a year, or even longer because
YOUR story needs it. Groups simply don't work that way.
Hence.. Private stories.. They suit the periods and romances best, in my
humble opinion.
And I am looking for the person who agrees with that, and wants to write
such a romance. Or even something else that is period based.
Since illustration is a must for me..
