You are in a place where the pirates, explorers and adventurers are real and they don't know that you're from -- someplace -- else...
So... Heft a mug of rum and join us in The Pirates of Disneyland where the action, adventure and mystery of 18th century Port Royal is with us again and you're a part of it. WHILE THER MAY BE 'SOME' FICTIONAL CHARACTERS IN PLAY, THIS IS NOT "FAN FICTION", it's 1721 and you're in a world where piracy exists along with all of the other mystery, adventure and intrigue of that earlier, more primitive and more exotic time.
THE PIRATES OF DISNEYLAND IS RATED "Hard R". We are an age-restricted forum. Players must be age 17 + to join. The emphasis of the group is creative and quality collective writing. THERE ARE NO "TABOO" SUBJECTS. Our only requirement is that the climate and atmosphere of the times be maintained for a sense of historical accuracy within the bounds of creative writing and poetic license.
The Pirates of Disnelyald is 'not' a 'new' RPG. The history of the game extends back some six months and the average participation in the forum varies between 200 and 500 posts per month. While originating in Google Forums, The Pirates of Disneyland is now moving 'home' to Yahoo, where manipulation and navigation of the site provide a better environment for play and a fuller section for files, photos an other aids that make our 'world' more of a living, breathing place, The Pirates of Disneyland is a forum in which any player may enter at any time and assume any character (within the time frame of the forum that thy wish). It is a perfect medium for both the experienced and novice gamer. We have an extensive list of Non-player characters and pre-generated characters with established plot lines that are currently up for 'adoption' by new players.
