Also, trying to divine company motives for army lists between two
different factions is hard enough; never mind two different games. I
guarantee you that Skaven are not even an afterthought in the SoB
design process. GW only admitted this year that 40K was basically
putting WHFB out of business and they're struggling to find a way to
advance the latter game overall. Unfortunately for them (and those of
us who like Fantasy), I don't think big explosions like Storm of Magic
are going to be the answer. But that's OT.

Its why I really think I am going to laugh my ass off when black templars come out and have absolutely awesome witch-hunting gear, before battle prayers that are totally game breaking, and other awesome goodies ;x

> Regardless: Sisters don't make money because I think GW has a pretty self-fulfilling prophecy of failure for sisters. We were denied plastics because "we werent popular" and we weren't popular because we were entirely metal. Then C:WH came out we had a SINGLE white dwarf issue when most armies get 2-3 covering their codex. With the price hikes constantly making sisters more and more expensive why should -anyone- care about starting sisters? Literally I have managed to, purely by telling them the truth, turn away SO MANY aspiring sisters by saying "well its around 50 for the sisters box...12 for the heavy flamer and you want the meltas and thats a random blister for 12 as well...oh and the rhino so that comes to around 130 for one squad".
>
> I agree entirely that GW isnt using these as playtests and anything who thinks they are has never been a playtester >_> I will certainly send an email or two, and maybe a letter, to their respective departments in hopes of giving someone a "stern talking too" :P
>
> But seriously...the first half has no images of new models o_O Sisters are not even on the shelves anymore in most stores, asides the blisters. So will they put out pre-orders before part 2 for new models or what? I am really surprised we haven't heard ANYTHING about models. Plus...there have been lists of augusts "order" list of models and sisters aren't on it :/

How exactly is GW going to get that in a legitimate understandable format. Having beta-tested for a few rpg's I know that game company ask for feedback in a concise and often pre-arranged format. GW is unlikley to do anyting of the kind. If they do I will gladly give it and be constructive about it.

>> Sisters don't make money becuase they have been politely ignored for a long time with no support. No articles, no love in supplements, no plastic miniatures, and continuous price rises in the existing goods all add to this. Its basically a self fulfilling prophecy. They won't support becuase they don't sell and they don't sell becuase there is no support.
