Coronado, California is lovingly called "the crowned city" by
locals and tourists alike. It's hotel served as the inspiration for
The Emerald City of Oz, and although there's no true wicked witch
of the west, inside of the city's border it's not too difficult
to find a beautiful, rich substitute. With wealth comes power and
corruption, both of which hold a place near and dear to the hearts of
many Coronadians. However, on the other side of the bridge, it's a
very different story. If you drive past the sandy beaches and cruise
down Silver Strand Boulevard, you'll hit San Diego and within the
city there's a neighborhood called Logan Heights where movie stars
and actresses don't dare to dwell and drug lords and gangs call the
shots. So what happens when the high school in Logan Heights burns down
and the students are shipped off to Coronado's Silver Strand High?
It plants a seed, one that's likely to grow into something bigger.
The bridge used to serve as a divider, but with the students flocking
to the state's richest peninsula, who's to say that others
won't cross as well? These seeds of disparity clearly affect the
students of Silver Strand High, but they also carry over to those who
attend the University of Coronado. And then, of course, it's hard to
escape them when students venture beyond the school setting into the
real world as adults.
Welcome to Silver Strand Boulevard, a game that explores the collision
of two very different worlds, grants a keen insight into the lives of
the rich and poor, and shows us that sometimes we're more alike than
we've ever dreamt possible. Buckle up and enjoy the ride, because
this boulevard's rockier than it looks.
Note: The game is currently undergoing renovation following a period of
inactivity, so some parts of the site may not be available. Most of the
characters have grown up and graduated, so now's the time for new
characters to make their mark. The game's going strong again with 13
members, but we'd love to have more!

Due to language and some mature content, we ask that all members be at
least 17 years old at the time of joining. Players are expected to post
a minimum of 3 posts per week, and all bios must be approved by the game
moderators.
