Yes, you can. Patrick's German army consist of Germans, Arabs and Turks.
I'm bringing a German Asia Corp army, with 1-2 Prussian units and a unit of Arabs also. (Guys in white bed sheets. Ya, they'll be easy to pick out on the battlefield).
They all play with the same list, but at least they look nice and varied on the table top.
