"Big Things, Little Packages"
The Defiant-class starship, officially an escort, began its life as a Federation battle ship with her mission set against the Borg. Tried and tested in the Dominion War, the Defiant proved capable of handling herself in any situation. Now in 2388, the Liberator fresh from the shipyards ventures out to make a name for herself, in the proud traditions of her class.
The Liberator, a member of Obsidian Fleet, is currently accepting applications for most major positions. Years of experience, or just starting out doesn't matter; there is a place for everyone on the Liberator. Under the command of Lt Commander Jon Morgan, the Liberator sets sail for adventure, holding true to her Latin motto, Aut viam inveniam aut faciam. Its meaning, "I will either find a way, or make on."
