There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people so when we needed them they could fight the battles we never could. It was called the avengers initiative. Under the direction of Nick Fury S.H.I.E.L.D. would send out agents to assess potential recruits for the initiative. In time there would a power so devastating the time for assessment had come to end and the initiative would have its first recruits. They would come together, stand against the oncoming darkness and fight it back.
They would become the world's mightiest heroes and the group would become to be known as The Avengers. Defending earth and its residents from all sort of evil both foreign and domestic. They would also continue to recruit others to join them. People like them with unique abilities that could fight and save the world from its enemies.

This is the avengers initiative a roleplaying group for those 18 and up that have a desire to write the avengers and their ongoing adventures. This roleplaying group is based off the movie, The Avengers, releasing on 5/4/12. The game will start on 5/5/12 and the story here will pick up where the story leaves off in the movie. Bios are required for all characters and no original characters are accepted at this time.
Taken Characters: Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Ironman.

PS: Yes I am aware the rpg doesn't start until after the movie, but hey wouldn't you want to be already a part of it, then you are assured you get the characters you want and there is no waiting for someone else to create a game based on the movie.
