Paul makes a good point and maybe the group running the tournaments should consider using a rules set that is actually supported by the author. The question is whether the War & conquest rules are liked by the gaming participants.

So now that it has been killed off, why does anyone still want to play them for the Historicon, Fall-in and CW tournaments? We should switch to Rob Broom's War and Conquest or Rick Priestly's Hail Caesar and the hell with WAB. Both WaC and HC are putting army list books together. While it's not clear HC is suitable for tournament play, WaC might very well be. Time for a change.
