[WABlist] Not dead yet ...

 

Hi all. Sad that WAB is out of print but rules often getted picked up by other publishers and get reissued.Even if this doesn't occur, the rules are solid and available on the web with all the supplements, I been playing the set for about five years and will continue to play it. I am currently gaming with some die hard WFB players and am using the set to introduce the joys of historical gaming very successfully.

I have 4 armies based on the HatPW supplement and am branching into the medieval period. My opponent and I have been playing 100 year War English vs French. The use of stakes have generated some questions I am hoping the group can help with.

Stakes eliminate weapon charge bonus, first charge and cause -2 to hit for mounted models.

1) Do these penalties apply to warhorses?

2) Do these penalties apply after the first round of combat?

Thanks for any help gents and chin up, the game is too good to die and especially not with good ambassadors for the set.
