[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] Re: The Glory Days of Roleplay

 

I hear you dire - I used to play at TalkCity too... some vampire chat channel, based on V:tM. Wow - talk about memories!

I miss IRC games, but it's pretty much impossible to find any good ones and with real-life making me work 6 days a week, pretty much out of the question for me.

I've taken to playing on forums, which allows me to play despite my odd hours, but I tell you... it seems as if people are getting lazier and lazier when it comes to post quality. I'm coming across more and more sites where people do this rapid fire stuff - posting with rules like "an action, a thought and a vocalization" and then only wanting a paragraph or two. I feel like I'm practically responding in one-liners.

It's horrid!
