As a long-standing fan of Castlevania (from Arcade, to Nintendo, Super
Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation 1&2, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy
Advance, Nintendo DS), I have always wondered what it would be like if a
small group of players was to create a character, and traverse a series of
lands and places in their pursuit of the great evil known as Count Vlad
Dracula.
Playing as a member of the legendary Belmont Clan of vampire hunters, the
Belnades Clan of mystics and witches, or perhaps a few 'errant' ex-members
of Dracula's armies of doom (Vampires, Wolves, etc). Individuals who would
either fight FOR or AGAINST the hordes of Dracula, pursuing their own
ideals (or following the ideals of another), developing relationships, and
getting down into the nitty-gritty of politics, awesome combat, and more.
I have wanted to play an OC (Original Character, aka "Custom") of mine in
the Castlevania realm for ages, has anyone else? I created a forum on
Delphiforums for it, but I haven't been able to work up the mojo to get it
off the ground. Not to mention, I've been wondering if a site like
InvisionFree, Zetaboards (etc) might be better for the endeavor.
Would anyone else be interested in dabbling in this genre with me?
