Hi to all

I have a query regarding ps2

i have a ps2 silver one slim when i load gameshark or codebreaker cheats then game cd dont boot up can anybody pls guide be how do i use cheats on silver ps2 moreover i tried the same on a black ps2 slim it works please guide me
