[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] The Future of Yahoo!Groups...

 

Given the recent proposal of changes in Yahoo!Groups, many of the groups I belong to are threatening to close up shop and move to fairer grounds. Some are doing the GoogleGroups thing, others ProBoards, InsaneJournal, etc.

I've not seen any of the changes spoken about personally, but most all have kvetched over the general broadcast awfulness of it all, and I'm inclined to believe my mods. I've also never used any of the services I've mentioned above for RPGs, and I'm looking to open my own game in the near future, once I get some logistical stuff worked out.

So... how does this group view the shifts? Good? Bad? Ehh?

And if you're planning to switch services, I'm curious... where are you going? Why?
