I am hosting 3 Adult Horror Games, all of them on the same Proboards forum. None
of these games have begun yet, so now would be the perfect time to jump into the
action.
To join any of my games, you must be 18+, and you must submit a writing sample
of at least 3 paragraphs. This writing sample does not have to be related to the
game, it is only necessary to prove that you have the writing capabilities
equivalent to someone who has graduated from High School. If you do not
demonstrate this knowledge in your writing sample then you will not be admitted.
For example, if you write like your thirteen use shorthand and netspeak like a
thirteen year old would you will not be admitted. I will assume if you write
like my thirteen year old niece that you are thirteen.
1. Cannibal Pirates of Dreadmist Isle
Cannibal Pirates of Dreadmist Isle is a fantasy/horror role playing game. It is
set in the Middle Ages.
The basic plot is that a group of cannibal pirates is terrorizing the local
populace of the continent of Keornne.
They prey upon the weak and innocent, killing them for the purpose of feasting
upon their flesh.
The setting is a fantasy world. Human characters are a must. No vampires,
zombies, orcs, or elves, or anything of the like at this time is permitted.
2. Forsaken
Forsaken is a fantasy game set in modern times. However fae are real, and they
don't do nice things, like granting wishes.
The truth of the matter is much darker. Mortals are captured by the fae and used
as slaves and toys for their amusement.
Children are switched for Changelings, or fae offspring at birth.
Explore a fantasy world where the old ones are very, very real.
3. Hellraiser Oblivion
Hellraiser is a 1987 horror film exploring themes of sadomasochism and morality
under duress and fear. The story is based upon the novella The Hellbound Heart
by Clive Barker, who also wrote the screenplay and directed the film. In the UK,
the film is titled Clive Barker's Hellraiser. It is the first film in the
Hellraiser series. Seven sequels followed with a remake of the first announced
in 2007. Hellraiser was number 19 on the cable channel Bravo's list of the 100
scariest movie moments.
This role playing game is an attempt to capture the magic of the film franchise.
You may either play a mortal, or a Cenobite.
