Captain Newkirk watched the Klingon squadron moving into attack formation. They were not here to submit to the blockade. They were here to break it. For his whole career Newkirk was dedicated to keeping the Federation protected, and now he was the instrument of war.
The USS Beowulf is a Halsey Class Destroyer in Horizon Fleet set during the TOS movie era. We have been around for two and a half years. Now we need you. The Triangle War story arc is going to need an assortment of characters. Our crew will not only be able to post as their own characters and NPCs but also as any Starfleet crewman in the war zone, civilians caught in the crossfire, those on the home front with loved ones in the conflict, even as the enemy. The options for creativity are endless.
Right now we need the following crew:
Executive Officer
Chief Security Officer
Chief Medical Officer
Chief Intelligence Officer
Chief Science Officer
I know some out there are hesitant to join a sim from this era, but its really not that different. In some ways its better.
10. Romulans won't cross the Neutral Zone just to say "We're back."
9. Klingons are bad.
8. First person that tries to put on a classical music concert gets a court martial.
7. No Captain Proton.
6. Our androids listen only to Harry Mudd.
5. Vulcans actually use logic, not arrogance.
4. It takes two weeks to get a message from Starfleet Command, so we'll make our own decisions anyway.
3. We don't need holodeck fantasies. We make the real thing.
2. Are we really supposed to believe that after 300 years there is no cure for baldness?
1. Comm badges, we don't need no stinkin' comm badges.
So come for the adventure. Come for the excitement. Come to fill your creative desires.
Come run with the Wulf.
