I've been having nothing but bad luck for a good while now, trying to find a
regular partner to RP with, someone literate with a good sense of realism in
games no matter the setting.
I myself am a mixed gamer, I've done high fantasy, low fantasy, sci-fi, modern,
modern horror, modern fantasy - you name it, I've played it. lol, I have a
modern preference, modern horror especially, something along the lines of World
of Darkness in style though recently, having gotten freshly back into the
Gargoyle's series by Disney, I'm just about dying to start some form of original
Gargoyles story using original characters and none of the pre-existing canons,
preferably. I like all original stuff, makes it more fun in my opinion. But a
game in that pre-existing setting would be awesome I think.
I'm not a Twilight fan, not a True Blood fan, if anything I prefer stories with
a more Anne Rice flare (though preferably with a bit more action and a bit less
melodrama. lol).
I'm an adult gamer and fully expect adult situations to arise at some point in
my games. In fact, I count on it. lol, A story without a little blood, gore and
sex is just not a game I wanna' be a part of, to be honest. xD lol, Our world
is full of it, why wouldn't an RP have at least a little bit of an influence at
the very least? Honestly. lol
I've created a myriad of characters over the years but I tend to create new
ones for games I get into freshly, though I do have some models I've never had
a chance to use so those may come into play.
Basically, I just want a good solid game I can take part in every day, every
other day, a post here, a post there. Doesn't need to move at light speed but a
post once a day would be preferable. One on ones are my preferred way of
gaming, but if a group is active, and the people are sensible, understand
realism and aren't crazily all over the place, I'll consider joining. But my
expectations are a bit high with role-players in general, I expect writers to
have a good head on their shoulders and to understand character limits and
realism.
But yet here I am, constantly being disappointed. lol
But I need role-play in my life, I get terribly bored without it, plus all my
writing muscles start itching for something intriguing to do. lol, So if you're
interested in partnering up, starting a one on one, or even if you have a group
game that's going or starting up, give me a holler. I'll take a look at groups,
can't guarantee I'll join, but I'll at least give it a look over.
One on one people, tell me a bit about yourself when you e-mail me. What types
of games and characters you like, what you'd be interested in doing.
Group owners, tell me about your game, what it's about, if you have other
players/characters active, and give me some positions where I could possibly
fit in. Nothing worse than joining a group and then finding out there's no
place for you to be. lol
