Description: The year is 2023. The once nearly world-wide empire that Darien Fatima built on the ashes of a civilization he took over through subterfuge has crumbled due to a botched EMP experiment that the paranoid leader himself commissioned. North America has been plummetted into darkness, and the feedback through international power grids has taken the majority of the globe with it. Pockets of electrical activity remain on the planet, but they are rare, small and far from North America. The Pact has been severely curtailed, granting the Mutant Liberation Front a signifigant advantage, allowing them to step up and claim near-equality in the struggle for freedom and decency.
Yet there are questions. Who will lead? Who will unite people? Where will the remnants of shattered organizations go, who will they gravitate towards? With they choose to align themselves with the remnants of the Pact (known to some as the Shattered) or will they seek out the MLF? Or will they go their own way, forge their own group?
Current Major Plot: The EMP has just shut down all power. How will everyone cope with the shift in the balance?
The game restarted under the current plot on 17 March, 2011.
Joining: A writing sample is required if you are not on another of my lists currently. Grammar, spelling and quality of the sample are all important. Details about the sample will be mailed to you after you click the Join button, so check your email. We are looking for active, adult players with strong writing skills only. This list WILL have content that is violent, sensual, and otherwise extreme.
