Near Life Experience is an "INSPIRED/SPIRIT" site, set in a small town in Maine. A scene straight out of a picture postcard... Near the beach, idyllic, the kind of place where most everyone knows everyone else.
The difference between this town and any other in America or anywhere else in the world, is that everyone in town is derived from a fictional, historical or even mythological character. The Greek God Hades may be sitting at the local coffee shop having a chat with Sookie Stackhouse and Anne Boleyn, while Dean Winchester is trying to hit on the waitress serving them all coffee, the waitress who sadly is trying not to fall over her own two feet like her 'spirit' Bella Swan.
Each and every citizen or visitor in the town is inspired by someone else... A different face perhaps, a different name, but they unmistakably have something in common with their 'spirits'... It may be something subtle or it may be completely uncanny, it's all up to you!.
