One of the local San Diego gaming groups is putting on two participation WAB 2.0 games at Kingdom Con this year. The games will be April 16 at 10AM. The con website is http://www.kingdom-con.com/ . Full list of events will be posted soon they promise but I just wanted to get this out. It's a rather new con and being the only con in San Diego, quite a few of the local clubs are putting things on there.
Game 1: Late Romans vs Huns/Goths using modified Fall of the West lists.
Game 2: Syrian Wars, Seleucids vs. Ptolemaics. This is a continuation of Jeff Jonas and my Syrian Wars compaign. Find out more over at http://www.ancientbattles.com/ (and read all the one sided Ptolemaic propaganda!)
Both will be pretty large games with everything provided. Just show up and play. If you are interested in WAB and don't have an army painted up this is a perfect opportunity to learn the system. Afterwords there are some extra tables if anyone wants to bring their own WAB army for some pickup games.
