[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] Back to the 60s!

It is the year 1968 in Silver Sands, a small beach town in southern
Florida. The climate is very much desirable, if you are talking about
the weather, which is usually warm, sunny and pleasant. The culture,
however is clashing. Some long time residents (conservatives) do not
like the hippies that are moving into the town, they do not even like
the hippies from the town. Especially the fathers who think their
daughters will be "corrupted" by the new influences. The hippies do not
like the conservatives being in their faces. And that is where all the
drama starts.

[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] Writers needed for 'Being Human' RPG

Boston, Massachusetts, 2011

Beneath the picturesque image, lurks a deadly secret...

Three weeks after Rebecca, a local nurse at Suffolk County Hospital, came up missing, another nurse has disappeared under the same strange circumstances. And everybody's a suspect.

While her brother, Chris Baylor, a local Investigator, follows leads to his sister's disappearance, he takes note of the other nurse's strange circumstances; disappeared, no body, no evidence. Red flags raise in the young man's eyes.. red flags that lead him straight to SCH, and to Aiden Turner, who is both a co – worker and an associate, though not of close connections. Chris hopes that Aiden will have answers, or know something that can lead him to the killer, and to his sister's body.

Meanwhile, Emily Kasey has been attacked by an assailant, who she claims was just a drunk bastard with an attitude problem. She couldn't have been more wrong.

While she stays at the brownstone she shares with her brother, and his friend and roommate, she slowly begins to discover the secret behind his two year absence, the odd way in which he acts around her – and their parents, and the circumstances behind her attack.

Josh, however, has more problems than just a battered sister, and her ever growing curiosity regarding his journal. His new love life, and old enemies, are both treading a very thin line. Will he be able to keep his secrets from Nora? Will he keep from harming her?

Will Marcus abide by Aiden's warnings and leave them alone?

[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] The Peace of the Federation - USS Merrimack

Looking to recruit in the Security, Counseling, and Sciences Departments!

The Alpha Quadrant is home to few friends of the Federation. The Cardassians
were uneasy allies during the last war, but we all remember the hostility they
held against us for decades. The Ferengi are loyal only to money and may sell
out yesterday's friend to tomorrow's enemy if profit is to be made today. The
Breen have never tried harder than now to destabilize the region and actively
raid and enslave free men and women of the Federation. The Talarians and
Tzenkethi are their more than willing accomplices to these atrocities. Do your
part to bring Pax Foedero, the Peace of the Federation, to this lawless land.
Leave your old life behind and reforge your destiny to become one of the Merry
Souls on the Merrimack.

What is this Sim called the Merrimack?

The USS Merrimack is simply a stage set against the backdrop of the Star Trek
Universe circa 2386, over a decade after the end of the Dominion War and seven
years after the events in Star Trek Nemesis. This ship has been in Bravo Fleet
for several years and this particular incarnation of it has just passed its two
year mark. To paraphrase a great line, we are a group of Star Trek fans that
enjoy putting ourselves in the characters we have created and to go out to
explore strange worlds, to seek out new friends and old enemies, and to boldly
go where no other writer has ever gone before.

We work together to create situations that our characters can intermingle in,
sometimes with tragic, sometimes with stellar results. They laugh, cry, fight,
fall in love and sometimes die out here in the Frontier, thousands of light
years away from Earth and the other Core Worlds. And that's the fun of it.

USS Merrimack is a 16+ Simm, meaning more mature content is exhibited in this
Simm than most of the rest of Bravo Fleet and we ask that you be over the age
of 16 to join. I want to encourage drama, grittiness and trauma content in
this Simm due to the close quarters and forced relationships in smaller
confines of a space vessel. Not to mention the potential violence that might be
encountered in some time periods. This does not give free reign to write
overly descriptive violent or sensual scenes, though there may contain
intensely suggestive dialogue, strong coarse (but not crude or bigoted)
language, intense or persistent violence, and non‐explicit sexual situations.

[Sonic Stuff] The Grand National (40 picture)

The Grand National (40 picture) The Grand National is a world-famous National
Hunt horse race which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse near Liverpool,
England. It is a handicap chase over a distance of four miles and 856 yards
(7,242 m), with horses jumping thirty fences over two circuits of Aintree's
National Course.
The steeplechase is the centrepiece of a three-day meeting, one of only four
run at Aintree in the racing season. It is the most valuable National Hunt
event in Britain, offering a total prize fund of £950,000 in 2011. The race is
popular amongst many people who do not normally watch or bet on horse racing
at other times of the year. Thousands of people dress up and come out to enjoy
the sunshine – UK weather permitting of course – the food, the drink, the
racing and the betting.
This year's big race was won by the horse Ballabriggs ridden by jason Maguire.

Time! Its just the time that's my problem to catch. I hve software for Ps2 games already I play burnt CD's I hve a program on my memory card that allows that and for my Ps3 hvent gotten around to doing anything to accommodate burn CDs as I had said I do hve access to them but not as readily. whenever I'm ready to use Linux I'll just Holla

what exactly your problem ?? you want to burn ps1 games ??? u need software to burn ps1 games ?? or you want to download them ?? plus regarding Linux i don't know much about it but i can surely help u in windows as i did these thing my self regarding game shark what problem r u getting tell me in detail may be i can help out

anyone know if there is a program like gamefly but that deals with ps1 games? theres a lot of games on ps1 ive been wanting to play, so i bought a ps1 hoping to burn stuff, but i cant get it to work. i dont know if its because im using a gameshark lite, but a long time ago i had what seems like the same model and had a gameshark the plugged into the serial port. i'm considering buying it again in case that fixes it or if not atleast i'll have codes for different games than on the disc.
also, does anyone know any programs that can burn ps1 games correctly on linux ubuntu lucid lynx 10.04?
