The year is 2012, the world of science and medicine has been evolving at an alarming rate and with the introduction of new science, there is always bound to be experimentation no one is aware of. Dr. Evan Marshall was a top geneticist at UCLA, he was applauded for his strives in research towards a cure for many of incurable genetic diseases. The government, hearing of his success, employed him to use his research for the betterment of the country, in the way of making super soldiers. Given his own government run facility, he was left to his own genius, most of the time lying to his superiors about what he was doing.
To some what he created were monsters, to others, they were the mark of a new era and of evolution. The experiments and everything surrounding his endeavors were dubbed the Icarus Project. What no one knew, was that he was using children in these trials, children he would genetically enhance while in their mother's wombs. And when they were born, he would be the doctor to deliver them, rushing the child from the room in all urgency. The parents would receive the heartbreaking news that their little one hadn't made it because of some horrible problem. The would be parents were sent home without a child while Dr. Marshall ferried the child away to his lab. The children he stole all had a trait they all shared, they all had wings. Feathered wings like a birds that would grow as they did and were engineered to carry them. To most this would be a dream, but these children were born into a worse nightmare than anyone could imagine.
As they grew, these children were treated as lab rats and prisoners. One hour a day were they allowed to socialize and be outside, but always under armed supervision. What Dr. Marshall didn't know, was these children shared other things besides their plight. Telepathy was shared among the children, as was enhanced senses, super strength and speed. As each child was brought into `The School' they were tested on and experimented on daily, because of this each child was enhanced with a certain ability.
We are those children and we will escape...we have no other choice...
