In 2380, the Federation encountered the Labarter, an ancient race of Vampires. The Labarter homeworld, Vampyre, is one long river of blood, surrounded by some of the most lovely lush green lands ever seen in the Galaxy. Since the planet is the farthest in its solar system away from the sun, there is very little sunlight, practically none. But since the planet has a complete Geo-thermal volcanic system, it stays warm enough to be habitable. The Federation, being human, made the Labarter thristy for more blood. And after several attacks on Federation and allied nations, the Federation declared war on the Labarter.
