I don't think we're a dead group. Seven years waiting for a new codex (heck, longer than that for new models even) didn't kill the group, a bad codex won't either. We just need to hold on till 6th Ed. and hope for better days. Interesting to note, GW is finding itself in a position where they have to replenish their supplies of Sisters minis. I ordered a Uriah, and found out I'll have to wait until November to get him, and several Hvy Wpns Sisters are on back order according to the e-mail I recieved from. Somebody's buying up the girls, so that has to be a good sign.
On the personal front, I'm building my own Penitent Engine, using the PE Pilots purchased from Uncle Jesse, and the balance of a SM Dread. I never cared for the rickety, lashed together look of the PE (a little Orky, IMHO), and the Dreads look better with my army. They will also have banners ala the old 2 ed. armies, as my collection is quite reto (right down to the old pattern Rhinos). Once the first one's built, I have sufficient spare parts (and pilots) to create the rest of the squadron.

Sadly it looks like it...I looked at the new sex made a list played it once...the Dex isn't bad it just isn't as fun to play as the old one...good thing my sisters aren't afraid if the dark it will be a while before I take them out again...
