I would suggest (for an April tournament) that you stick to AofA. That should give players a chance to get the book and make any necessary adjustments to their armies. It would also be a good test of how well AofA works for tournaments. If AofA works out it might be the boost that WAB needs.
Of course I haven't seen AofA but I can't see anyway the supplements and AofA will be compatible. The various supplements were never compatible to start with as anyone that had to play against a Byzantine army will attest to. Some effort was made to have the Classical books work together, Allen and Jeff J. for example. Special rules will not be compatible either. It is just pure folly to try to use the supplements and AofA together. The mere fact that the points don't add up between AofA and the supplements should be a red-flag to not try to mix the two.
Adepticon would be the perfect setting to see how well AofA works.

That's the plan for Adepticon in April: Army books at 2000 pts and AoA lists at
800 pts. I just don't see enough time between now and April to allow everyone
o reconfigure their armies for AoA.

I would second that!
