You're right a S 3 PW is not worth all that much, but its nice to maek those wounds count when you roll them against marines. I can't tell you the number of times I've wounded a unit of marines only to have them make all of thier saves. A VSS with a bolt pistol and a power weapon has 3 attacks and 4 on the charge, so its not all that bad. Its certainly not our forte, but I use it quite often with my Seraphim as its silly not to follow up an all assault shooting round without an assault. As a rule though, I generally avoid power weapons on Sisters now. If and when I field a Canoness, I usually give her a power sword/inferno pistol and pair her with a unit of Celestians. Since my vets can't take Eviscerators its generally not worth it to try to use power weapons. If you have spare points, I'd buy some HK missiles for extra long range AT shooting
