Excellent! Could you direct me to any websites with tournament rules and restrictions.
I am reading all of these posts with great interest. I'm strongly leaning towards HC because it will be easier to present as a product line. At this point I don't have the luxury of promoting multiple rule sets as that will both confuse and discourage new gamers. I totally agree with Jeff that most historical gamers, at least here in California, don't seem willing to support their local game store, so I pretty much have to build a new player group from scratch. But I already have a little crowd forming.
One thing that really impressed me was I posted a question about translating my WAB EIR into HC and I got a great response from Rick Priestly. You can check it out here:

I remember when Jervis Johnson used to post here long ago. Those were great times.
I have also started building an Ancient Briton army. But I gotta say, the people in my store thought it was awesome to see High Elves face off against Romans. This was a surprise selling point. Next time I want them to fight Orcs! I know this is sacrilege to many of you, but hey, a store owner's gotta do what a store owner's gotta do. Think of it this way - I'm seducing them to follow me into the light! And for me, I just love running Romans. Hell, I'd play them against WWII Germans if I could figure out the lists.
Thanks again for all of your responses.
Chuck
