Nouveau Steam is a science fiction and fantasy role-playing
world. Members of Nouveau Steam are allowed to create species, races,
classes, diseases, and more! Not only that, members can enjoy multiple
separate RPG's on one board. Currently, there are four worlds to choose from: Wings of War (High Fantasy), The End of After (Fantasy/Sci-Fi),
Namue(Fantasy with a touch of Sci-Fi), and Left Behind
(Fantasy/Steampunk). Also, new members might find the thread summaries
very helpful! There is no need to read many back posts if you do not want
to. Simply read the summaries to get a general idea of what is going on
in any threads that catch your attention. You can choose to play in one world, or several!
Don't worry if the
board seams overwhelming. A help video is available on the site! Other
members and I can also help you if need be. Simply post a questions on
the board, and you will be answered ASAP!

Variable. Each world has different restrictions and requirements. Here is a rundown of the RPGS:
Wings of War: This world takes place in a fantasy medieval setting where magic is as normal
as breathing. There are elves, centaurs,
demons, angels, etc. Please note that there is no "technology" in
this world. Humans and other fantasy creatures only. No cyborgs, or other technological creatures.
The End of After: This is a science fiction
world. ANYTHING GOES! You want a cybernetic elf? Then, by
all means, create one! The End of After includes high technology such as stealth
suits, cyborgs, hovercraft, pulse
rifles, etc. Fantasy is also welcome in this world, meaning elves and other creatures are allowed!
Namue: Fantasy; technology is based of magic. Instead of electricity, think
mana. Sci-fi is also allowed here but is very unusual unless you are in
outer space (usually only the Empress and her crew go into outerspace).
Most people on Namue are clueless about "technology".
Left Behind: Fantasy/Steampunk Sci-Fi. Fantasy and technology allowed. HOWEVER, only to the point of steam engines and things along those lines.

Nouveau Steam is a collection of all my original RPG's. There are many
different worlds on one board. You may choose to live within one of these
worlds, or you may choose to live in each of them. The choice is yours....
Wings of War:
Now the seal on the Book of Ages (a book of knowledge, wealth, and
power) has vanished, thrusting all three worlds onto the wings of war!
If you read it, your desires will be fulfilled and your wishes will be
granted. With this book, worlds can be created and worlds can be
destroyed. So the question remains, who has possession of the book now?
The End of After:
900 hundred years after they left Earth to allow the planet to heal, the human race returned. Unfortunately, they found themselves to
be aliens to their own home world. Life had not only survived, but
evolved and mutated in order to adapt to the harsh conditions the humans had created. The humans described Earth as hostile where they were no
longer the predator but the prey. What seemed to be the most frightening was that some of these hostile creatures resembled humans. Was it
possible that the humans that were left behind long ago mutated as well?
Namue: An age old prophecy speaks of a time of great hardship that is to come
in the future. However, no one can know if this future is near or far. The only clues that it gives are signs that announce its arrival. The
first sign is a common one, in which crops began to die and famine is a
reality for those who must rely on the earth to survive. The second are plagues brought on by the decay of the dieing populace that inhabit the world. The third and most frightening is the noticeable decrease of
the ever present Mana in which the world needs to survive. It is the
supernatural force that holds the world together and is the raw essence
from which magic is created. Mana dwells within everything and everyone and without it everything will fade from existence and die, leaving the world of Namue a desolate rock floating in the dark, cold void of the
universe.
Left Behind: The Uprising: In the year 2387 a mysterious virus was secretly dispersed around the
world. By the time the was discovered, it was too late. The US
government declared that the virus was a terrorist attack from overseas. The overseas countries denies all claims and stated that they too, had
victims of this virus. Finally, what remained of the uninfected human
population, left the planet on crude shuttles leaving the sick and dead
loved ones behind. With most of the human race gone, the dark beasts
that lurcked in the shadows are now able to roam freely. IN order to
survive, the remaining human found a way to summon beings from another
world to help fend off the dark.
