You ever hear the one about the Klingon hairstylist? Because today is a good day to dye. Or the one about the new restaurant on Deep Space 9? Great food, but no atmosphere...

More than a Role Playing Game (RPG), Star Trek Pretoria is a Trek-based Collective Writing Effort. We produce storylines with deep character development, strifing for quality and originality. We take take pride (and have fun while we're at it) in our writing quality: using elements of science, the occasional starship battle, the wonder of exploring, putting up with annoying diplomats and ambassadors, and comedy.

SETTING:
Exploring unexplored sectors in the Beta Quadrant, mainly the Seraris Regions. The mysterious sections of the Alpha Quadrant, Seraris Regions which is protected by the so-called Magic Barrier. It is first encountered during the Earth-Romulan War. It has been impossible to enter the Regions until 2 years ago, after Federation scientists have spent the last 95 years, weakening a corridor via subspace manipulation. The Regions holds about 210 Class M planets. 2 percent of the Regions has been explored so far. The trip through the Magic Barrier is very difficult and dangerous, requiring fancy and extremely complicated flying. The Outer Magic Barrier appears to be a subspace sandbar, it prevents ships from travelling at warp speed. The Inner Barrier reflects sensor scans of all types, so no one knows what is inside.

WRITING SAMPLE OF A RECENT POST
**Black Omega**
The runabout was painted black, a Greek symbol of Psi on the sides. In recent years, Section 31 had their insignia all over the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
Chester walked through the door after the shuttle scanned him, to allow entry. Six mice scurried towards the cockpit. Mice droppings on his bed ... on the replicator surface ...
Chester felt his skin crawl as he started a frantic search for his medication. A video message popped up, Stryker was smiling, "My dear Chester. I noticed you have a severe case of Germ phobia. And as luck would have it, you are allergic to most Reatinax medications. You will find your replicator is glitching, will only serve Andorian food. It will take 19 days to reach the nearest starbase, without medication. Enjoy your trip"
