James,
I think Phil did take some photos and may know where there is a link for the 30 Years War file.
In brief the the list Phil was using I think was for the Swedish forces. I was playing a Royalist force with all steady troops. Phil's dragoons did a fine job of drawing my two units of horse into a trap where the dragoons turned and fled and left me open to a charge by Phil's veteran horse. All of this action took place on the Swed's left flank near a copse of woods. Although the trap in essence worked it had the result of drawing the Swed's main horse unit well away from the main battle as my horse units would break and withdraw to then rally and face yet another charge from the veteran horse.
Meanwhile my pike and shot units forged ahead into the cannon and shot of the Sweds. Upon reaching charge range all of my units engaged sweeping the cannon and breaking one unit of the Swedish infantry. This resulted in a massive route of almost all of the other Swedish infantry. By this time both our battle lines were utterly scattered across the battlefield. All of the Royalist horse had finally been either routed or destroyed by the Swedish horse but they were now far away from the main battle. The Swedish center had been completely devastated. However, the Sweds managed to rally enough of their infantry to still at lest contest the field. All of my Royalist horse was gone and I had at least three strong units of pike left, but most of my shot had spent their ammunition. I held the center but was surrounded by still viable units that in time could bring much pressure to bear. Without any horse and little or no shot left the Sweds had managed a marginal victory. We had played 7 turns in less than two hours. It is wonderful having two people that know the rules well and just enjoy the game.
