A year ago, Starfleet received a signal sent from another galaxy. the signal began with the words "We welcome you to our galaxy." the rest of the signal contained plans and designs for a galactic transporter. A device that would be able to take a group from the Milky way and transport them to the Pegasus' Galaxy.
The Starfleet Corps of Engineers began assembling the components needed while a base to launch the mission from was found. In 2386, a facility was found. The new home of Omega Fleet was designated as the starting point for the galactic transporter. SCE moved in and began putting the peices together.
Now Commander Webb is assembling his team. He is looking for the best and the brightest to travel with him through the device.
The ship, Pegasus, was launched by a yet unknown race. This race claims that the vessel will bring the crew to them. But everything about the ship is an unknown. It is up to the crew to explore the ship and discover it's secret. And to explore this new galaxy that they are in.
