After defeating Danzo, Sasuke Uchia killed Madra Uchia before he could start his war. Saskue then retreated. Lady Tsunade never recovered and passed away, leaving Kakashi Hatake as Hokage. Knowing he would need to be stronger to beat Sasuke in the fight that was destined to come, Naruto once again left the Village Hidden in the Leaves to become stronger. Shortly after that Sakura left for reasons unknown.
Six months after being named Hokage, Kakashi and a number of high level jonin were assasinated. Shikamaru was named Hokage. Shikamaru took the role reluctantly never planning to keep the title long. When Konohamaru became old enough, given his dedication to the village, the Third Hokage's grandson Shikamaru convinced the Damiyo of the Fire Nation that Konohamaru would be a good replacement for him.
It is now ten years later and Naruto still hasn't returned or been heard from. It is now time for a new crop of ninja to face the challenges presented to the village.
