Sector 1757 is located 20 light-years from the Cardassian Union boarder making it the most isolated area of Federation space in the Alpha Quadrant. Currently only one Task Force has been assigned to this region of space; Task Force 92. Using the recently relocated Regula-Class Station, designated Kepler, as a base of operations their mission is to explore this new territory on behalf of Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets in general.
As well as the Cardassian Union, The Expanse inhabits an area of space within range of the Ferengi Alliance, Breen Confederacy, Tzenkethi Coalition and the Tholian Assembly. This makes The Expanse an extremely volatile location and as such the highest caution is advised to any
civilians planning on travelling there. For those seeking new frontiers or perhaps new financial ventures, Kepler Station offers a wide range of trading opportunities as well as retail spaces available for lease.

Emergency Broadcast detected: Hazard Zero, Five, Nine, Bravo. Civilians are advised to avoid moving within range of the Planetoid designated (2433614) 2386 KA until further notice. Two hostiles, a male Romulan and an unknown female, have been reported to have captured and tortured a Starfleet Security Officer and a civilian Doctor before making their escape. The pair are considered extremely dangerous and anyone with information regarding their whereabouts should contact Starfleet immediately.
