THE SHORT
Apocalypse Later is a modern supernatural fantasy RPG, looking for creative minds to join us and play with us. We are a solid group of player-writers who love to craft and follow character-driven storylines. With nearly six months of play in the group thus far. With so much potential plot just waiting on the horizon, plus all the creativity you--oh potential player--could bring to the mix, there's no end in sight.
We're going to be starting a new game day on December 5th, and there are many many open doors for new characters in all areas of the game. We love helping new members come in and join our fun, and we definitely have a place for you if you're interested.

THE LONG
The end of the world--or the beginning of a new age--dawned on December 21st, 2012, when storm clouds filled the sky the whole world around and a spectral host ran in a massive Wild Hunt, pursuing who knows what. That Wild Hunt proved to be the end of a long magic drought that had caused so many of Earths greater mythical beings to fade into the background of society, and the more human ones--like vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters--to hide in the shadows and play human.
Now people must face the reality. Vampires, werewolves, and so many other things are very, very real. Supernaturals must choose whether to step out into the open and end their secrecy or cling to their old ways. And around all this revelation, battle lines are being drawn. Somewhere, bubbling just under the surface, a war has been raging between beings those of Earth have long called demons and angels.
Aegis, vigilante group of humans and supernaturals working together for the safety of all those who are generally of a good nature--regardless of race--provides shelter and a line of defense to those in dire need. They have found an ally in SAINT--the Supernatural Activities and Intelligence Unit--an army unit that is the brainchild of a werewolf colonel.
Triad, a secret government organization of human hunters, is meanwhile bent on eradicating the supernatural threat. They hunt supernaturals down and research them to find better ways of hunting them.
The Chaos Order, a longstanding order of supernaturals with useful talents, has an eye on Aegis--and in particular on an artifact and a little girl in Aegis's possession.
The Highers, an order of demon hunters with roots in the Knights Templar--and perhaps even farther back--was the Guide Council until its leader was murdered by his once-heir, Dylan Sypher, who had grown tired of being held on a leash by the Guides. No more cloaked secrecy, no more listening to lesser humans, the chains of the Highers have been broken, for better or worse...
