[RPG_Player_Sanctuary] Quality X - Men game, looking for new recruits! :)

 

Premise:

After the assault on the White house; a practical declaration of war, Craig Harris, a young mutant, unaware of his abilities, destroys a promising new school – when he loses control. The end result is an explosion so powerful that the entire institute is engulfed in flames, killing everyone inside instantaneously.

The devastation does not go unnoticed. News crew cameras catch the footage; cameras, originally set up to construct an interview with the Head Mistress, who's receiving an award for their outstanding Arts program. But, mundane and uneventful news turns to panic and turmoil – when it makes the headlines. Comparisons are made with D.C's assault, and fingers are pointed in Eric Lensherr's direction – in spite of the fact, that he's in prison.

Panic fuels outrage and rash decisions on behalf of the human populace. An anti – mutant law is enforced, and extremists are voted in to take charge of the `mutant problem.'

The belief that mutants are not only the enemy, but a lower class of citizen, is stronger then ever. Taking a step further than the registration act, they create neck collars in the hopes of using them as a power retardant for the mutants. It'll render them human; with the sugar coated promise that `it's a voluntary solution to fit in – and be normal.'

And if it sounds too good to be true, it is. The government hopes that by promoting the collar as a good thing, they can take care of the mutant problem once and for all – and make them a slave race.

While things will start out sunny, they are about to take a grisly turn into the unknown. So come, and join us! :)
