I'm part of the SoCal WAB crew, and there are always people here who are up
for a game. I agree that no support or marketing are a problem, but we
have a pretty active early medieval group going, and we host some kind of
WAB event at most local events.
Bolt Action and Saga are also fun, but I don't think they have drawn away
any players from WAB, as they are such different games and different scales.
