We are in need of good Marvelesque Original Characters under age 30 for this
group. Our writers need to
be over age 18 and be willing to submit bios and auditions before entering game
play. Posts need to be 3
paragraphs long and posting is not limited too, but needs to be at least
weekly..

The Future is NOW...children of the Marvel 616 Heroes and Villains fight for
survival in a world that is
changing right before their eyes.

The New Avengers, a group who have broken from the rank and file of the United
Nations now finds itself
whole and helps the Underground Xmen to free the United States from a government
that would rather
enslave half its people than worry with possible mutant uprisings. And when they
do, the world of many
people will change.

The Brotherhood and the Xmen are hidden around the world, helping mutants and
fighting for their rights
through acts of terrorism if needed. The leadership of both about to be in
question. The primary teams of
each find themselves face to face. With the changing of the world, these teams -
once enemies - are at
the beginning of a metamorphosis - a change that will bring both together to
protect the future of their
people.

Changing the world can be a good thing...and it can also be frightening and
exciting. How will the future
be written? Will the apocalypse come? Will it be avoided and if so - at what
price?

A Sample Scene: Breaking into Worthington Industries
(3 players in-scene)

SNIKT

"I've got the keys."

Rogue grinned as Wolverine's admantium claws gleamed in the dim light. Though
hidden deep inside his
hands they looked as fresh as if they were newly forged. She had seen enough to
know that the hatch
had little chance against such weapons. Little did, even the Blob had felt
their sting.

A bunch of shredded metal later, they were in a boiler room of sorts. It was
dimly lit and dank. Logan
made his way through steam that hissed from various pipes about him. He moved up
a set of metal stairs
and opened the door slowly. The hallway was clear. He looked a camera in the
corner at the end of the
hallway.

"Toaster," Wolverine muttered over his shoulder. "We'll need those cameras
scrambled or whatever it is
you do."

"Understood." Marcus replied and placed his hand on the wall, he felt the
electiric signal feeding the
security camera's and sent a small electromagnetic pulse along the wall to know
out the live feed. His
abilities as a Prime Sentinel came in handy, even if they had not been wanted.
"There, cameras are down,
but it won't take them long to figure it out and send guards here."

The three of them moved into the hallway and hit the stairwell. They moved
quickly and in no time they
were up on the floor they were looking for. Again, Logan cracked the door open
and looked both ways.

At the end of the hallway two guards were standing on either side of
Worthington's office doors.
Wolverine looked at Rogue. "Yer up."

With a nod, Rogue disappeared into a cloud of black and purple brimstone with a
soft 'bamf'. At the far
end of the hallway she reappeared and casually knocked them both out with her
fists when they each
heard her soft re-appearance, her fists moving swiftly out of the rapidly
dissipating purplish-black cloud
of brimstone. She checked them both to make sure they were out and motioned to
Marcus and
Wolverine to move forward and also disabled their weapons with her
super-strength.

They moved to the end of the hallway and came to stop before a large set of
double door. They were
made of metal, ornately carved with the Worthington crest. There was no handle.
On the wall was a panel
with buttons and a small screen.

Wolverine looked at Marcus and didn't say anything. The Toaster had talents and
he'd need to use them
to grant the team access. It was the main reason why Cyclops was so keen on
sending the robot man with
Wolverine, despite the Canadian's protests.

The cyborg nodded when Logan looked at him and walked up to the safe. Marcus
placed his hand on the
panel and remotely accessed the internal mechanisms of the electronic safe.
"This will take a moment.
This is a high tech mark omega security panel", he said to them as he fooled the
alarm circuits while
running the number algorithm. A moment later the door clicked open.

Once the doors were open it was pretty easy to find the object of this
particular mission. There in the wall
itself, was a safe door, it stood a good six feet tall. Logan was, once again,
looking to Marcus.

"Angel's ashes'll be in the safe. Get 'em."

There was another door in the office and Wolverine went to it. It was unlocked.
As soon as he stepped
into the room he touched the communicator in his ear.

Logan picked up the entire stack of paper, just as Cyclops had instructed. But
there was something that
caught his eye. There was talk about apologies for lateness in sending
research, something about a
project, and Logan's gaze slipped down to the signature line: Sincerely,
Nathaniel Essex.

"Sinister," Logan snarled.

And that's when Logan heard voices come from the other room.

"You two! Stop right there!"

Logan could see into the other office. Two security guards, pistols drawn.

While Marcus had busied himself with cracking the safe, Rogue had kept an eye on
him and the door they
had just entered as she wandered around the large open office. She had seen
many such places in her
times and travels as an X-Man. She had even wondered if she would ever have such
a place...but then she
wasn't gifted with business acumen and trying to even keep track of her own
stocks was a big enough
headache than trying to keep track of an entire company's worth of assets.

Though she didn't fear their bullets, she had had worse aimed at her in the
past, "Now, now, no need for
violence..." she said as she did another encore presentation of her absorbed
powers by teleporting into
their midst but not before they fired at where she was, their bullets
splattering harmlessly against the
bulletproof thick glass that surrounded Worthington's perch. Reaching out and
she grabbed their guns
and crushed them in her grip. When they went for their taser-like guns she
knocked each of them out
with the remnants of their pistols. They dropped like stones and she dropped
their ruined guns as well.

"How much longer newbie?" Rogue called out as she took up position near the door
as she could hear
more guards coming down the hallway. She readied her fingertips as they started
to softly glow ready to
release coherent focused laser beams courtesy of Dazzler's mutant ability. They
wouldn't be as powerful
as what Dazzler could do with them since this was her second absorbed ability
and as as such wouldn't
pack the same punch but they would still hurt and smart and freak them out...no
one liked being tagged
by lasers!

"This would have been easier before security tripped the alarm. The safe has
gone into lock down mode."
Marcus said as he took a step back. Sparks began to fly from his hand as he
pointed it at the safe and arcs
of lightning crackled across the safe. The Hunter rushed forward and plowed his
fist into the metal. Black
oozing poured out of his wounds as Marcus used his strength to open the safe.

With his other hand he reached in and took the urn from the safe and looked over
at Wolverine and
Rogue. "Got it."
